It seems almost churlish to look at some actual facts. No presidential candidate was breaking the 50 percent mark in mid-August polls in 2004 or 2000.
Yet surely, we keep hearing,
The truth is we have no idea what will happen in November. But for the sake of argument, let’s posit that one thread of the

Excuse me, but holy crap! This should concern the hell out of every American. I was aware that he slipped up every once in awhile, but damn, this guy is seeming senile or something. Alzheimer's, maybe?
Remember Reagan not remembering his own Sec. of State? I found that alarming but, at least, when I heard it, Ronnie was no longer president; certainly not running for president.
To appreciate the discrepancy in what we know about
I'm not all that concerned with Cindy and her fortune. Good for her. One less person in the street we have to try to help under the Bush administration's economic policies or lack of policy. However, I am concerned about all of the lobbyists around McCain. If it isn't clear it should be. Lobbyists are enemies of the people and Democracy until proven innocent. I don't like all of the lies about Michelle. We have fellow citizens who won't bother to check any of this stuff out. They simply believe it, if Hannity, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, or others of their ilk, spout it. Sad, Sad, Sad!

I don't believe anything Corsi says after his swift boating of John Kerry. More proof, please.
As everyone says, polls are meaningless in the summers of election years. Especially this year, when there’s one candidate whose real story has yet to be fully told.
As Corsi would say, how do we know that McCain's story about everything that happened to him while held captive at the Hanoi Hilton is true. Some of it doesn't hold water. For example, since when does a prisoner of war get to decide whether he gets released or not, as John McCain says he was asked whether he wanted to be released? Does the military still teach that a prisoner of war should do everything it takes to escape. I ask, because it sure as hell did back then. The U.S. would have benefited from everything McCain knew. Yet he says that he refused to leave his buddies? Refused? Since when does a prisoner of war get to refuse anything?
