Neither Catholics nor Jews should hook up with the crusading crackpots because this is what they really think of them. What they say in public is highly suspect most of the time.

The Mormon's call the Roman Catholic Church, "The Abomination" which lost the Truth; the Truth they claim they now have. Their founder stumbled across some gold tablets in up-state New York, of all places. These tablets contain the Truth so they say.

Fundys are even worse. I can remember growing up in the Baptist church and hearing horrible things said about Catholics, Jews and Blacks. My mother could take only so much of that and we left the church. Dad had no objections when he heard why.

They haven't changed. Their methods may have changed but they haven't. Jews will be cannon fodder for Armageddon, except for 144,000 who will suddenly accept Christ as their savior and therefore be spared existence in hell for all eternity, along with everyone else the Fundys hate, which is just about everybody. The Catholic Church is the great whore of Babylon, or some such craziness. (Seems to me that if there is a great whore of Babylon at the moment, it is the American corporate empire, but they will never see that.) These people are about as concrete as it gets when it comes to thinking.

They care about nothing but their own twisted, sick, hateful doctrines and dogmas. The wholesale slaughter of the Jews and Muslims would not bother them in the least, because they see it as God's will. The Temple must be rebuilt at all cost, otherwise Jesus won't come back and punish everyone but them. They can't wait for that to happen. Glory Hallelujah! That's almost as good as heaven.

They are about the furthest, in their thinking and actions, from anything Christ taught. As a matter of fact, they are anti-Christ in most of what they say and do. They've been waiting for the anti-Christ as well. This entity is supposed to arrive before the Christ and make life a living, burning hell for everybody who refuses to worship him. (All they have to do is look in the mirror.)

Isn't that basically the same thing they say about Jesus? "Worship me or fry." Whatever happened to free will? Kinda sounds like Cheney and Bush: "Vote for us or die."

I will condemn Hagee and all the rest of the myth-mongers, who peddle fear and false teachings, scaring the crap out of the less educated, the elderly, the simple-minded, the superstitious and the senile, etc.

These are the great deceiver; great, as they have totally deceived themselves, before they begin to deceive others, kind of like Junior, whom they love till this day.

McCAIN EMBRACES BIGOT March 3 Yesterday, Senator John McCain said he was “very honored by Pastor John Hagee’s endorsement.” The Republican presidential hopeful also called Hagee “the staunchest leader of our Christian evangelical movement,” citing the minister’s pro-Israel stance. Catholic League president Bill Donohue addressed this today: “There are plenty of staunch evangelical leaders who are pro-Israel, but are not anti-Catholic. John Hagee is not one of them. Indeed, for the past few decades, he has waged an unrelenting war against the Catholic Church.
