I'm Dying. Just thought I would let you, my readers, know
Knowing that one is dying, definitely has an effect on one's world view
I have stage 3 Lung Cancer. It would be a miracle if I live another three years.
When I was a kid, the word "Cancer" was spoken in a whisper, as if to speak it out-loud, one would surely be bringing the dread disease to their own home or something. I always thought a bit weird.
No one wants Cancer, especially the kind I have, but I have to tell you that it is freeing and much less scary than I thought it would be.
It is, after all, a legitimate ticket out of Bush-world.
